Our Piece Of The Puzzle

Pastor Mike Foster continues our series Pieces of the Puzzle with a message on how suffering involves many various pains, physical, mental, and emotional. The best all encompassing definition of suffering I can give is: whenever we are not in control. This is when things happen that are against our will. To fill our piece of the puzzle in the Kingdom of God, as this local church, we must embrace the suffering of not having control when we minister to other people. We may look foolish, we may receive hostility, we may be very scared. But if we allow that suffering to do its work, our hearts are softened towards God and our faith grows. We get to see the sick healed, the dead raised, leprosy cured, demons cast out- IF we allow God to teach us through the sufferings of not having control. We have a piece of the puzzle to fill, and God is calling us to place our piece in His Kingdom. Suffering and great glory afterward.
